Shining | Part 4
Today is a mix of Wonder Woman and science, and I am ready to bring it! Let's ride.
Hi guys!
Continuing on our series – Learning how to shine.
*Week 1- we talked about how there are areas of our life where we don’t shine.
*Week 2- We talked about how to start building the shine muscle.
*Week 3- we talked about how shining requires work!
And today we are going to talk about dahlia flower essence and body language, tools to help us shine.
--
Let's back it up one notch and talk about flower essences. What is a flower essence?
--
To some of us, this sounds like bologna, and to others, it sounds like possibility.
And like I told someone the other day, I believe in possibility.
--
As I was doing research on flower essences and how we can use them to shine, and I found the dahlia flower essence.
The qualities of this essence are MAGNIFICENT.
Here are just a few:
Dahlia is a woman warrior (hello, Wonder Woman!) essence or grounding, empowerment, strengthening the healthy sense of self, and igniting the will into positive manifestation.
Dahlia essence stimulates insight into the human condition and the aspects of modern life that create images of limitation, as well as stimulates the will to rise up and become freed of those impositions.
Dahlia essence empowers the heart, brow and crown shakras; it also empowers the throat shakra, especially in women so that they may more freely speak their truth without fear of abandonment or censure.
I will take the qualities ALL DAY LONG! You know what I mean? You can find some here. Using and envoking the powers of the dahlia flower essence is absolutely going to help us shine.
Brothers and sisters, we have been dimming our lights for so long, that we need help pulling ourselves out of the shadows. We need tools, people, love, and strategies, to help us walk into our brightest light.
I shared dahlia in case it resonates with you ( I fell in love with it!)
Here's one more tool to help us shine.
Body language.
In 2012, Dr. Amy Cuddy taught the world about power posing in her TED talk.
She taught us that our body language shapes who we are.
If we want to feel more powerful, we need to take up more physical space, like...guess who??
Wonder Woman!!
So when it's time for a photo, don't do the cheerleader squat, don't pigeon toe your feet, don't shrink. Use your body to train your mind that you are powerful, you can shine!
When it's time to walk into a room, don't drop your head and look at the floor. Hold your head up high, let's see that beautiful face!
When you are leading a team meeting, claim your territory. You have the right to speak and be heard.
--
That's all for today! I hope those help you shine!!
You're such a gift. With love, act like it.
